Since 2014, Same Love is a full-service egg donation and surrogacy agency proudly dedicated to helping LGBTQ+ individuals and couples grow their families. ABOUT
Brad Spencer, a Los Angeles native, has spent over 50 years in the city and nearly 20 as a successful investment professional. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance from CSUN, and enjoys tennis, traveling, and spending time with his family. In 2014, he founded this agency, which has since celebrated over 700 births for parents in 30+ countries across six continents. Tennis brought Brad and his husband together. They met at a tournament on the Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance (GLTA) World Tour. A competitive doubles match led to shared glares and, ultimately, a lasting connection. Both Brad and his husband come from large Italian and Mexican families, and always dreamed of having children. They realized this dream through surrogacy, welcoming twin boys with the help of a family member as an egg donor. They maintain a close relationship with their surrogate and her family. Beyond his professional and family life, Brad actively volunteers for The Trevor Project, a non-profit dedicated to LGBTQ+ youth suicide prevention.

ABOUT
Monica Lopez, a Southern California native, brings over 25 years of experience in the fertility industry to her role at Same Love Egg Donation & Surrogacy, where she leads a dedicated team of eight surrogate coordinators. Her career began after earning dual degrees—a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science—from the University of California, Irvine. Before joining Same Love in 2018, Monica served as Nurse Manager at California Fertility Partners, a leading IVF clinic. Her extensive clinical experience, spanning thousands of egg donor and surrogate cycles, paired with her own experience as a mother of two, allows her to provide compassionate, knowledgeable support to all surrogates in her care. Monica is deeply committed to supporting LGBTQ+ families and has been an active participant in MHB conferences. She oversees all Spanish-speaking surrogate cases, bringing fluency in Spanish and cultural sensitivity to her work. Outside of her professional life, Monica enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and going all out with holiday decorating.

ABOUT
Born in Owensboro, Kentucky, Heath lived in New York City for 12 years where, in 2009, he met his husband, Carlos. While in NYC, Heath became deeply involved in activism, co-founding Civil Rights Front and organizing major LGBTQ+ protests for marriage equality. He and Carlos always dreamed of becoming fathers. They made the move to Southern California and with the help of Same Love Surrogacy, they welcomed their son, Jackson, in 2020, and their daughter, Margeaux, in 2024. This personal journey to fatherhood inspired Heath to return to his activist roots and join SLS in 2020. He is passionate about helping others achieve their dream of family, recognizing the global obstacles faced by LGBTQ+ families and those experiencing fertility challenges. Heath’s recent personal experience and his involvement in helping over 100 babies come into the world make him an asset to his team of coordinators and the intended parents whose cases he manages. He aims to bridge the gap for IPs, guiding them towards a life filled with happy snuggles.
SAMANTHA PECKERAR

ABOUT
Samantha Peckerar was raised in Virginia and moved to California at the age of 20. She moved cross country with her finance and has been successfully married since 2004. She recently moved back home to Virginia. Sam has worked in the medical field since 2002, and started specializing in infertility in 2004. Samantha has experience with different aspects of infertility and has been an egg donor herself ten times. Samantha had the opportunity to meet two of her intended parents and is still in contact with one of them today. It is Samantha’s passion to have egg donors enjoy the process as much as she did. It was Samantha’s desire for building families through egg donation and surrogacy, that devotion brought her to Same Love Surrogacy in 2021 as the Director of the Egg Donor Program. Samantha is responsible for managing egg donor services and supporting our egg donors.
Some of Samantha’s hobbies include fitness, multiple outdoor activities, and traveling with her family. While she is at home, she enjoys pizza nights accompanied with puzzles and board games with her family, when she is not attending one of her four kids sporting events.

Since 2013, Andrea has dedicated her career to supporting women through one of life’s most extraordinary journeys. As a trusted advocate for surrogates and a respected professional in third-party reproduction, she has worked with four established surrogacy agencies, guiding hundreds of successful journeys while developing extensive expertise across every stage of the surrogacy process. Her broad industry experience, combined with her personal perspective as a three-time gestational surrogate, has made her a trusted resource for surrogates, colleagues, and fertility professionals alike.
As a Surrogate Coordinator, Andrea is passionate about empowering women who choose to become surrogates. She understands that carrying a child for another family is one of the most extraordinary gifts a woman can give, and she is committed to ensuring every surrogate feels informed, supported, respected, and cared for from application through delivery and beyond. Her calm guidance, strong communication, attention to detail, and unwavering advocacy have earned the trust of countless surrogates throughout her career.
Andrea’s expertise is uniquely shaped by both professional and personal experience. As a three-time gestational surrogate herself, she had the privilege of helping two wonderful same-sex couples welcome three healthy baby boys into the world. Those journeys created lifelong friendships and gave her a firsthand understanding of the emotional, medical, and logistical aspects of surrogacy—an understanding that allows her to genuinely connect with the women she supports every day.
Throughout her career, Andrea has collaborated closely with fertility clinics, attorneys, psychologists, insurance specialists, and intended parents across the country. This comprehensive industry experience enables her to anticipate challenges, navigate complex situations with confidence, and serve as a knowledgeable resource for the surrogates she represents.
Andrea believes that exceptional surrogate support extends far beyond coordinating appointments and milestones. She strives to build meaningful, lasting relationships founded on trust, transparency, compassion, and open communication. Her mission is to ensure every surrogate feels valued, empowered, and confident throughout one of the most rewarding experiences of their life.
Andrea lives in Central California, with her husband and their two children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and their lively household of four dogs, four cats, and a bearded dragon.

ABOUT
Ashley Chasteen was born in Great Lakes, Illinois and now resides in Fort Worth, Texas. Ashley grew up in a military family, traveling every few years from Illinois to South Carolina, Florida and finally to Texas where she calls home. Ashley joined the United States Navy in 2008. After experiencing some of the toughest yet most rewarding challenges you face during an enlistment, Ashley returned home to where her heart is, Texas. Growing up Ashley always wanted to work in the medical field, after exploring emergency medicine and internal medicine she found her passion in fertility. Prior to joining Same Love Surrogacy, she was the Third-Party coordinator/ clinical manager at Fort Worth Fertility. Ashley was a surrogate herself and delivered twins for a same-sex couple here in the United States. It was her empathy and compassion for building families through surrogacy that brought her to Same love Surrogacy in 2021. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family. Being a personal chauffeur for five children can be demanding but if you find her at home on a weekend, she will most likely be binge watching the newest episodes on Netflix.
Faith Tidwell
SURROGATE COORDINATOR

ABOUT
Faith Tidwell was born and raised in Colorado and still resides there with her husband and 3 children. She has worked in the medical field as a Surgical Technologist specializing in Obstetrical and Gynecological surgery with additional experience in the Labor and Delivery and Postpartum hospital units and laboratory for 7 years. She has been a surrogate herself three times, for both domestic and international intended parents as well as both straight and same sex intended parents. Her passion and desire for helping grow families led her to join Same Love Surrogacy as a Surrogate Coordinator in 2021.
Some of Faith’s interests and hobbies include: spending time with her family, supporting her children in their extracurricular and athletic endeavors, camping and fishing in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, reading, cooking, and striving to be the best cat mom she can be to her hairless Sphynx cat, Gizmo.

Jenn Hoffman was born and raised in Germany and traveled all over the United States as an Army Brat! In 2003, Jenn made the move to California to support her husband’s naval career. Jenn, her husband Mike and their three children settled into life in Murrieta, CA in 2011, where Jenn began working for the San Diego Fertility Center. Jenn devoted her time to her children, shuttling them to and from lacrosse, soccer and gymnastics while having the ability to serve her San Diego and Riverside County patients and still support her husband’s career.
Jenn has worked in the medical field for 22 years, specializing in infertility for 15 years. Jenn has experience with different aspects of infertility and has been a surrogate herself 4 times bringing 5 surrogate babies into the world of loving parents. Jenn has been blessed to maintain an open line of communication with one of her intended families; further strengthening the bond and relationship she shares with the intended families. Jenn and her husband Mike have been married for more than 20 years and have been side by side since 2000. Jenn’s husband, Mike, recently retired from the US Navy as a Chief, and they are creating their forever home in Oklahoma. Jenn has three wonderful children, Zander who is 21 and a proud member of the US Army, Jillian who is 20 and an incredible champion gymnast at the University of Utah and her youngest son Zayne, who is 19 and working full-time for a local roofing company as he builds in an apprenticeship to further the next chapter of life.
Some of Jenn’s hobbies include woodworking, spending time with her 4 Great Danes, traveling with her family, and catching up on her favorite shows. While Jenn is at home and has down time, she enjoys building new custom projects, noshing on delicious German food, and walking her dogs with her husband Mike at her side.
KEVIN PUTRUS

ABOUT
Kevin Putrus, a San Diego native, joined Same Love Surrogacy (SLS) driven by his personal experience with two surrogacy journeys. Before SLS, he was a stay-at-home parent for three years, a construction project manager for six years, and worked in insurance for five years. His passion for supporting others in their parenthood aspirations was ignited by his own path to building a family. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Kevin and his husband explored various paths to parenthood after meeting in 2013. They welcomed their first child in 2018 and a second in 2021, with the help of an egg donor and two surrogates. Their family has lived in Sydney, Australia, and Phoenix, Arizona, and is now based in San Diego. In his free time, Kevin enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, discovering new restaurants and coffee shops, visiting the San Diego Zoo, and relaxing at the beach.

ABOUT
Luc Abraham was born and raised in the Netherlands, where he met his husband, Jonathan, in 2010 while working as an expat from the US. After falling in love, visiting California for the first time, and getting engaged, it was only a matter of time before the big move finally happened and they officially moved from the Netherlands (back) to San Diego in 2015.
Having children was always a big part of his life goals, so much so that during their very first date, Luc asked Jonathan if he wanted children. Luckily, he said he would be open to it when the time comes, and the rest is history.
While going through his own twin surrogacy journey, Luc started working in the surrogacy industry where he has been steadily working since 2021, enjoying supporting the LGTBQ+ community and anybody else going through struggles big and small trying to complete their family.
His hobbies include trying new restaurants, anything ‘Real Housewives’ related, and enjoying San Diego weather with his family.
Scott Dow
INTENDED PARENT COORDINATOR

ABOUT
Scott has been fortunate to live and work across the United States. He was born and raised in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, and later moved to California to attend Santa Clara University for his undergraduate studies. After college, Scott completed two years of service with the National Service organization AmeriCorps NCCC, where he was based in Vicksburg, Mississippi and worked on projects throughout the Southern Region. He then moved to New York City to earn his master’s degree in Art History from Hunter College before ultimately settling in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In 2013 while living in New York City, Scott met his wonderful husband. They married in 2018 and, in 2020, began the journey to build the family they had always dreamed of. After extensive research, they chose to work with Same Love Surrogacy for both egg donation and surrogacy. In December 2021, their lives changed forever with the birth of their boy-girl twins. They have been a happy family of four ever since!
Prior to joining Same Love Surrogacy, Scott built a professional career in the arts, working as a Fine Art Registrar at museums and galleries. In this role, he oversaw the documentation, logistics, and care of artworks, including shipping, storage, insurance, and condition reporting. Following the birth of his twins, Scott spent three years as a stay-at-home dad, an experience he considers the most challenging and rewarding role he has held.
Outside of work, Scott is an avid reader and horror movie lover. He enjoys cooking with his family, crafting and working on projects with his hands, and tending his vegetable garden.
Wilson Liang

ABOUT
Wilson Liang was born and raised in Guangzhou, China. He moved to Arcadia, CA with his family when he was 15 years old, and now resides in Los Angeles, CA. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at University of California, Santa Barbara, and worked as a Production Coordinator at a major global apparel retailer. Growing up in a large extended family with 15 cousins, Wilson is immersed in the culture of family building and children development, which led him to join Same Love Surrogacy in 2019. Wilson’s main responsibility is to support and assist the Founder & Managing Owner of Same Love to ensure a flawless experience for all Intending Parents. Wilson plans to become a father and create his own family through egg donation and surrogacy.
Some of Wilson’s interests include traveling, fashion, photography, cooking and exploring different restaurants. He is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
Lisa Fuh

ABOUT
Lisa Fuh was born in Taiwan and moved to New Jersey when she was 9 years old. She completed her undergraduate degree at Rutgers the State University of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a minor in Spanish. She went on to pursue her medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Lisa completed her training in family medicine at a hospital affiliate of UMDNJ with a focus on diseases and specific challenges that affect women’s health.
Lisa’s own experience with IVF instilled in her a desire to help others in their journey to parenthood. This experience, coupled with her unique understanding and perspective of women’s health, led Lisa to Same Love surrogacy as a surrogacy coordinator. As a physician and a mother, Lisa is passionate about guiding women through the surrogacy process in a safe and caring manner.
Any free time is dedicated to her family, planning trips to various parts of the world (especially Disney World). She enjoys practicing yoga, running local races and playing the violin. She is fluent in Mandarin and English.
Lisa met her husband during her residency training and just like Elliot and J.D. from Scrubs, they quickly developed a lasting friendship.

ABOUT
Mary was born in Chicago, IL but she is a citizen of the world. She has lived in Honolulu, HI and Dublin Ireland, where her family still resides. She, her husband, and two children have lived in Southern California for the past 15 years. Mary had extensive career experience in customer relations management, in-home health care services, and marketing. It was Mary’s passion for building families that made her join SLS full-time in 2019.
Mary loves spending time with her family and friends, cooking, traveling, watching movies, reading, hiking with her two dogs, and volunteering with Free Mom Hugs – an LGBTQ support group.
David Vallejo
DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL MARKETING

David is a father, husband, Digital Marketer, and a varsity football coach. He also has a very cool English Bulldog named “Biggie”.
ABOUT
David Vallejo is Digital Marketing veteran with over 28 years of experience. He originally graduated as a Computer Programmer in 1997 and quickly moved into marketing. His career spans two decades on the client side, where he ran multiple Digital Marketing departments. During his career he ran the online department at Walker Advertising, where he implemented advanced processes which exceeded quarterly growth in lead generation. David moved into a marketing agency and has led the digital efforts for multiple startups as well as publicly traded companies.
David has been supporting Same Love Surrogacy since 2018, and he is very passionate about family building through egg donation and surrogacy. His marketing skills has been critical to the success of the agency. During his free time, David is dedicated to his family, coaching football, traveling and spending time with his dog “Biggie”. He is fluent in Spanish and English.

ABOUT
Christal Schafler was raised in Monterey Park, California, in a close-knit family alongside her four siblings. She has a lifelong passion for personal growth and brings a warm, people-centered approach to everything she does.
Christal has completed three surrogacy journeys, most recently delivering her third surrogate baby in March 2026. She considers surrogacy one of the most meaningful experiences of her life and takes great pride in creating a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment for intended parents throughout each journey. Her firsthand experience allows her to connect deeply with others and provide genuine understanding and encouragement.
In addition to her surrogacy experience, Christal has a professional background in Sales and Purchasing within the architectural industry. She has held leadership roles, including training and mentoring Inside sales teams and supporting team development and performance.
Outside of her professional life, Christal enjoys spending time in nature, camping with her family, reading, hiking, and staying active. As a proud mother of two daughters, she loves supporting their interests in piano, art, and gymnastics, and strives to lead with patience, encouragement, and love.

Haylie works in Medical Records, where she supports families on their surrogacy journey by carefully managing and reviewing important documentation. With professional experience in an IVF clinic and personal experience as a two-time surrogate and four-time egg donor, she brings both knowledge and empathy to everything she does.
Haylie is deeply passionate about helping families grow and believes that kindness, integrity, and attention to detail make all the difference. At home, she’s raising two teenagers and understands just how meaningful this work is—not just on paper, but in the lives of the families she helps every day.
