THE SLS STORY
The inspiration for Same Love Surrogacy came from personal experience… the experience of three gay dads who created their families via surrogacy and egg donation and a four-time surrogate for international and domestic gay intending parents. What all this personal experience taught us is that, even though more and more LGBTQ individuals are seeking to become parents via assisted reproductive technology, there are no agencies specifically designed to serve their needs. Sadly, all too often, even those agencies that purport to serve the LGTBTQ community as part of their client population fall short in doing so. The result is a cookie-cutter approach that fails to recognize and respect the cultural environment and societal challenges faced by LGBTQ intended parents.
THE SLS VISION
That’s where Same Love Surrogacy comes in. We set out to create a surrogacy agency tailored to the unique needs of LGBTQ intended parents. We wanted our agency to offer person-to-person guidance to LGBTQ people embarking on the journey to parenthood, informed by our more than 25 years of cumulative experience with surrogacy and donor services as well as our own perspectives as LGBTQ parents and surrogate to LGBTQ parents.
